Construction of inkjet printhead Head in the inkjet printers can be built in different ways:
- Integrated with the ink container, so that when exhausted you have to buy a new one (cheaper HP and Lexmark printers)
- Independent co it can be replaced independently from the container with the ink (older Canon printers and HP printers upper-class)
- May also be a part of the printer and when worn out its possible to repair it only on the site (this solution is used in Canon and Epson printers)
Thermal head as a part of the printer consists of heating resistors, chambers and nozzles print shutter. The element directly responsible for printing is the nozzle. On its quality depends the accuracy and speed of printing. In inkjet printers in the early 80's the number of jets fluctuated within a dozen, and now there are hundreds. Introduction
Ink-jet printing is the ink in the form of spray droplets on the medium on which we print. Due to the inkjet printing we can get the illusion of full color palette, but in fact, printing is carried out using only a few colors: black, cyan, magenta and yellow. In photo printers to ensure better print quality and a better mapping of color inks can be used additionally colors like: red, blue, green, light cyan, light magenta and black in different shades.
The illusion of the aforementioned color palette is created by merging of small points of different colors in the larger fields. The human eye can be so "cheated" as reads the points with different colors but imposed very close together as a single color. |
